Can we pick up the inflatables from your office and set the units up ourselves?
We’re sorry. The Big Blast does not allow our equipment to be picked up. Safety is a motto we believe in and we know that it is best that our trained professionals assist throughout the process.
Are inflatables safe?
Yes, they are. The Big Blast has the safest equipment designed and constructed on the market. Please follow all of the instructions from our professional staff and adhere to all of the safe operating instructions. Adult supervision is required.
Can we keep the inflatables overnight?
Yes. But the inflatable(s) must be in a safe and secure environment away from people and adverse weather conditions. This must also be arranged in advance with The Big Blast. For insurance and liability reasons you will want to keep the inflatable deflated overnight (if outside and unattended). You are completely responsible for the unit and its accessories until we come to pick the unit(s) up.
What is your policy on rain, strong winds, or other inclement weather?
The Big Blast will not setup equipment in rain, snow, high winds, or muddy ground - - or if the temperature is below 50 degrees. With this in mind, it is strongly recommended that an alternative indoor location be reserved in case of inclement weather conditions. Once the equipment has been setup and the weather gets bad, the full amount of the rental is non-refundable. Unfortunately, this applies even if the event is shortened.
What if I need to cancel?
Once an inflatable rental is reserved, you can post-pone or re-schedule your rental and your down payment / deposit will be credited towards the new date.
Do you offer discounts?
YES. Please call toll free 1-866-468-1150 for details.
Do you require a deposit to reserve an inflatable?
Yes, we require a 30% deposit to reserve the equipment. This deposit is non refundable if you cancel. However, the deposit may be applied to another rental date.
What types of surface is necessary to set up an inflatable.
It is important to have a level, uniform surface. Grass, Concrete, Blacktop, gymnasium floor, or Carpet work fine. No Dirt, Rock, Gravel, or Sand setups are allowed.
What is need for electricity and power?
Each inflatable needs at least a 20 amp 120 volt circuit for power / blowers. Some of the larger inflatables require 2- 20 amp blowers.
How long does it take to setup and take down an inflatable?
Generally, the setup and take down takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending on the location, layout, and size of the inflatable.
Can you provide additional insurance?
If you want to be listed as an “additional insured”, the cost is $50.
How many children can bounce at one time?
It all depends on the individual piece of equipment and ages / size of the children. General rule of thumb it to make sure each child has enough room to bounce with their arms extended without touching any other children.
Can we set up an inflatable indoors?
Yes, most of our inflatables can be set up inside as long as the room is large (and especially tall) enough to accommodate the inflatable – gymnasiums work the best. There are also some special considerations about stairways and doorways. Bottom line –make sure all potential details are discussed in advance.
Can you set an inflatable up in my driveway?
Yes, provided the driveway is large enough, flat enough, and not gravel or sand or other loose surface.
Can you provide an operator for our our inflatables?
Yes, we can provide staffing for all the inflatables at your party or event. Staffing is $25.00 per hour per attendant with a 4 hour minimum.
What happens if we spill something in or on the units??
It is advisable that you provide trash cans near the inflatables and keep all food and liquids away from the equipment. If an accident does happen, please clean up the mess promptly. Please treat the equipment as if were your own.

Customer is held liable for any and all damages to equipment other than normal wear and tear.
